ADRF works to enable the observance of civil, political, economic, and cultural rights of people with disabilities in the Albanian society, working intensively to improve and implement the legislation in areas such as the accessibility, health care and social services, employment, education, access to electoral processes and social integration of persons with disabilities. The advocacy and lobbying process has been carried out in campaigns, through intensive meetings, forums, correspondence in all executive and decision-making levels, including Prime Minister of Albania, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the National Council on Disability Affairs, Minister of Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities, Interior Minister, Chairman of CEC, heads of executive and decision-making institutions on local level, representatives of business, etc.. The activity is run through the establishment of various advocacy groups near ADRF, in accordance with the selected issue, with the participation of national and local disability organizations and active individuals with disabilities. |
