In November 2008, USAID-allocated a grant to the Albanian Disability Rights Foundation (ADRF) focused on the promotion and the integration of the girls and women with disabilities in the social, political and economic life of the country, through empowering them and promoting their capacities for advocacy, lobbying and leadership.

This project followed other grants of USAID, focusing on the increase of access to mobility means through ADRF “Miresia”- factory and promotion of implementation of the National Strategy of Persons with Disability Rights.
